I read a lot of blogs. I used to read a lot of glossy magazines but now I prefer to read about every day life. There are some incredibly talented bloggers out there and I find them inspirational, I love nothing better than getting my littles in bed and snuggling up on the sofa with a bar of chocolate and a glass of wine (or diet coke) and having a good old read.
Here are some of my favourites, but my RSS feed currently has got almost 300 blog subscriptions and I love them all.
Just click on the photo to check out these fabulous reads!
Lucy and I met through blogging, yet her and her family have become best friends of ours. She writes a beautiful blog all about her beautiful babies- the clue is in the name! Think lovely family tales and pretty photography.
Morgana has become a great friend of mine and I love her blog full of tales of her life. She has just launched a new shop called Little and Fierce which is full of lovely bits.
Jenny is truly a beautiful person inside and out and her gorgeous blog reflects this. She is kind, supportive and writes about a huge range of subjects including recipes, craft, food styling and parenting.
Jess' was one of the first blogs I read as we started around the same time and I still love reading it even now. Plus as an added extra Jess is now a friend of mine. She writes honestly about motherhood, is a talented crafter and takes goreous photos too.
My gorgeous friend Alison writes Not Another Mummy Blog- a blog that makes me nod in agreement, laugh out loud and generally smile on a regular basis. A freelance journalist and writer, Alison certainly has a way with words, but also I love her fashion posts and videos too.
If you want to literally laugh out loud until you think you are going to wee then you need to check out Katie's blog. She is hilarious, writes so well about life as a parent to two young boys, yet also is a very nice person too. In real life she is just as funny, yet also incredibly lovely too!
Lucy writes a beautiful blog full of beautiful crafts, party ideas and family life. She is a very talented photographer and I love her blog.
Fritha is just one of those ladies that looks like she exudes coolness, and her blog is even more so. She is a professional illustrator and her blog is full of inspiration, quirkiness, and tales of life with her gorgeous son Wilf. She also has a fabulous online shop.
Kelle writes Dinky and Dandy, one very cool blog dedicated to children's fashion and interiors. Her little ones are the cutest and I want her to come and style my children's rooms. Plus she is a very lovely lady who I class as a friend.
Emma is a relatively new blogger but I ADORE every single post she writes, it's definitely one to check out. She has the most beautiful home and family, and I love her interior posts as well as her general every day posts too. She also has a great fashion sense and I love seeing her outfits over on instagram.
Rachel writes The Ordinary Lovely, a gorgeous blog full of a little bit of everything- interiors, family life, photography and anything else that takes her fancy. I have known Rachel online for years when she was writing a previous blog and I always tune into what she has to say- plus she is a thoroughly nice lady too!
My Two Mums is a fabulous memoir written by the lovely Kirsty and Clara about the many adventures of parenting and features the most gorgeous little boy 'Monkey' and some lovely photographs. They also write honestly about raising their little boy in a same sex parent family.
I love Alice's blog and have done for a long time. She writes honestly about all manners of different subjects- parenting, single motherhood, dating and everything else inbetween. She is also gorgeous and has two very cute kids- what's not to like?
Bryony has the most beautiful two girls who are a very similar age to my two littles as well, and therefore I can really relate to her gorgeous blog. She writes so honestly about family life and her blog design is great too.
Katrina writes Cool Bananas, a relatively new blog all about family life, health, fitness and style. I love Katrina already, her writing style is unique, she has a great fashion sense and I nod along to all her posts. Plus she is a really sweet lady too.
Kara is one of the loveliest ladies I have had the pleasure of meeting in the blogging world. She writes Innocent Charms Chats and it is a honest account of life with her two little people, including Grayson who has special needs. (with Baby Sweet Pea due in a couple of months) She is a truly inspiring Mama.
This was one of the first blogs I started reading. Written by Lauren, who writes about the life of her two boys, it is a lovely picture of family life. I think what I love most about it is that Lauren always writes completely honestly, whether about anxiety, breastfeeding, reviews or other things. It is also full of lovely photos.
One of the newest blogs on my reading list, 'Write Like No One Is Watching' is written by Charlotte, a full time working Mummy to the gorgeous William. What I love about Charlotte's blog is that her posts are always so interesting- whether a soppy letter to her son, a post that makes you think, a heartfelt read or a fashion post.
Becky and Tom are the Ar Blog- all about their adventures with their daughter Holly. Tom takes the photos- he is a wedding photographer, and Becky writes the lovely words. It is gorgeous and I pretty much like every single post they do- you should definitely check it out!
'Oh So Amelia' is another one of the newest blogs on my reading list. Kerry writes all about the life of her and her gorgeous daughter. What I like about it is that it is very pretty and pink and features a full range of posts- from recipes, crafts, family life to fashion and beauty.
Vikki writes 'Love From Mummy'- a lovely blog all about life with her sons Riley and Harry. She is a really supportive and kind blogger so definitely check her out if you have a minute!
