A Lovely Day At The Next Event...
In October last year Mads and I went to our first Next Blogger Event. It was a fantastic day which I wrote about here. Therefore when I saw an email pop into my inbox about their next event, I was very excited and put my name down straight away.
The event was held on a beautiful farm in the middle of the countryside in Northamptonshire. The sun was shining and it was a really great day. Next thought of everything, as they always do. There was a bouncy castle, a great children's entertainer, beauty treatments for the Mummys and it was all held in a lovely marquee.
I spent the day with Mummy and the Beastie and her two gorgeous boys, and I was treated to a back massage while a nanny looked after Mads. Bliss. We spent time chatting to the lovely Next PR team, who are all so nice, and we browsed the new Autumn Winter children's range as well. As well over 80% of Mads clothes come from Next, we loved hearing all about their key pieces for Winter and there are some gorgeous items that we will most definitely be purchasing. I love the fact that they are trendy yet cute at the same time.
We were treated to a spot of lunch which was very yummy indeed, and Mads sat and watched the childrens entertainer in fascination, even though she was a little young to understand what he was saying. She loved dancing when he put the songs on but didn't get the rules of the games and kept saying 'More' when he turned the song off to allow the older children to guess!
There was time for a quick bounce on the bouncy castle, and a few quick snaps with the official photographer. Unfortunately we didn't get as many cute ones this time as she can now move and wouldn't sit still for them! I still have the photos from the last event in a frame in my living room.
Finally we were sent home, with a fantastic goody bag for both me and Mads, and happy smiles on our faces from such a lovely day. I would like to thank Next for putting on such wonderful events- they are always so fantastic and we both had a great day.
