A Sunny Family Day...

on Monday, 20 August 2012.

The weather this weekend has been incredible. We luckily had no plans, so decided to just enjoy it and spend lots of time outside. Here is a little insight into what we got up too.

A few miles from us there is a beautiful reservoir- we decided to go there for a picnic and a play.

We played on the swings and went really high.

We ate ice creams.

Which were fab!

We splashed so much in the paddling pool that we got rather soaked.

We had a lovely day- one of those quiet days where you don't do much but that make you smile. Long may this gorgeous summer weather continue.

Beautiful photo's. Fab lollies are just well...fab! We have a current addiction with the apple and blackcurrant ones. Love the paddling pool shot, pure delight x

Ditto the beautiful pics comments. I love days like this and Youngling seems to be like a completely different child when the sun comes out. he really comes into his own and we go on so many new adventures and what not. Its beautiful really. I think this winter I will try and get that sparkle to appear in his eye as we splash around in puddles. Its only water after all. Lovely post Katie.
