Good Friends Are Like Stars...You Don't Always See Them But You Know They Are There.
This past weekend we have had a lovely time. Our wonderful friends came down from Newcastle to stay for a couple of days with their 10 week old baby, and we all had a great time getting up to some adventures.
As Mr E and I have moved around so much, a lot of our closest friends live far away. It always makes me feel a little sad that we don't get to see them as much as we would like too, but life gets in the way a lot and we just don't have the money or time to go up and down the country seeing them.
But as always is the case with your closest friends, as soon as you see them it feels like you have never been apart. These particular friends are no exception- we had a great weekend and here are some of the photos from the last few days.

Our friends are very important to us and we are lucky to have some very special ones in our life- whether they are friends from school, from university, friends who we have made as couples, baby friends and now even blogging friends- I never take any of them for granted.

Really good friends are simply the best, I just love how with some people you can just pick up where you left off. X
