Miscellaneous Memories #1
I take a huge number of photos with my 'big camera'. I also take a lot with my iPhone camera too but with the iPhone I always put at least some of them on instagram or facebook. With my SLR, I find that I do dedicated photo posts on certain days out, weekends, feelings etc, but then the rest of them just sit on my computer and I don't record the memories.
With that in mind I have decided every couple of weeks to do a post with photos that I have taken over the previous couple of weeks with my DSLR camera. There may not be enough of them to dedicate to a whole post of their own but I still want to be able to look back on these photos and smile. Hence 'Miscellaneous Memories.' Just the usual comings and goings of our life. The beautiful ordinary and the little moments, which is something I write about a lot on this blog.

When she gets up from her afternoon nap, she always without fail asks for a 'biscuit and juice.' She then snuggles on the sofa with me and we watch a bit of television. She is always so cute and cuddly.

We went for a walk one Sunday morning and it was so foggy out we could hardly see. It was beautiful but eery and Mads loved running in the mud in her wellies.

Just like Mummy.

Foggy.

I love this one of my pair.

Because I am obsessed with my camera and take it everywhere I go, I thought it was only right we bought Mads her own camera too. I had been hunting for this particular toy for ever because I had the exact same toy camera when I was little, so was so excited that Kelle told me where to find one.

Now she can be like Mummy and I also get to relive a little bit of my childhood. Plus how retro cool is she?! Who needs digital when you have old school Fisher Price.

I love how when she smiles it lights up her whole face. It makes me happy to know she is happy.

She is at a very expressive age, if she is happy she will let you know. If she is not, boy will she let you know as well.

She never says still long enough to look at the camera, therefore when I manage to catch one of her looking, it makes me do a small victory dance.

We had a little night away this past weekend to Hampshire, just the three of us. We did the same just before Mads was born, myself and Mr E went on a 'babymoon' to the Cotswolds. This time it was the three of us- we had a nice relaxing day swimming in the hotel pool, went to Winchester for some dinner and just generally enjoyed each other's company. Here is my little water baby.
So there we have it, my first random memories as captured by camera at the start of January. I love documenting the life of my little family.
