My Week That Was #33
I hope everyone has been enjoying the absolutely beautiful sunshine we have had this weekend, and long may it continue into next week. Without further ado here is My Week That Was.

Monday was a work day which was boring, but I also posted our little announcement video on my blog which made the day pass slightly quicker as I was overwhelmed with the response it got- thank you for all your kind comments. In the evening we were going to go over to my Mum's for dinner but my step dad was poorly, so we had a nice evening at home.
Tuesday was another work day- this one wasn't quite so good as I didn't have a huge amount to do so the day passed quite slowly.
Wednesday I worked in the morning and then in the afternoon my sister came over for a little bit. Wednesday afternoons are reserved for my freelance work but I have been so tired recently this hasn't always happened!
Thursday was my day off and Mads and I went for a lovely day out at our local Maize Maze with all our friends. The sun was shining, and we had a picnic before bouncing on the bouncy castle, riding on the play tractors, playing in the soft play area and even going on a proper tractor ride too. It is a great day out and for once nearly all our friends were there so it was great to catch up with everyone. In the evening we went for dinner at my Grandmas which was a lovely evening as well.
Friday I was supposed to be going into London for a yacht party for the Mad Blog Awards finalist but unfortunately we had a setback and I wasn't able to go. My Mum had got a new car the day before and for some reason even though it is brand new, it wasn't able to fit Mad's car seat, meaning that she wouldn't be able to drive Mads home from work and she had appointments. The stress of trying to sort it out, plus having a headache made me have a meltdown, I think it was my hormones! In the end I decided not to go, and I went over to my Mum's salon for a pamper session and she treated me to a pub lunch which was very nice. Mr E and I had Dominoes pizza in the evening which was lovely.
Saturday we woke up and the weather was beautiful. We went over to my Grandparents in the morning to give them a photo book full of photos of Mads we had made as a present- they loved it. We then went to a local beauty spot and had a picnic and a play on the swings. After that we came home and spent the entire day in the garden- splashing in the paddling pool and jumping on the trampoline. In the evening Mr E cooked my favourite risotto, and we watched X Factor.
Sunday has been another quiet but lovely day. We got up and went to Kiddicare as we needed to buy an attachment for my Mum's car and this car seat, and then we came back and had a chilled out day at home. I baked my recipe for the Disaster Chef competition, which was Upside Down Plum Cake and we played and ate lunch in the garden. Mads and I also had a long nap which was lovely, she is still asleep and I am writing this before having a big spring clean of the house- boring but it needs doing!

And that was My Week That Was.
If you would like to join up and tell us about your week (or show us your week in photos) the linky is open and will remain open until next Sunday so feel free to join up at any time- doesn't just have to be on a Sunday. You can grab the badge too. Have a good week.

The Maize Maze sounds like fun, we have been meaning to do one for a while but I'm a bit worries I'd get lost without the Mr, my geography is rubbish as is my coordination!
Are you in the final 12 now of the Disaster Chef ? - Hope it goes well :) x
