My Week That Was #4
Doesn't it feel like January has been going on forever? Well it does to me. However this is the last full 'My Week That Was' for January and next week we will welcoming February into our lives.
For those of you unaware of 'My Week That Was,' it is exactly what it says- a post all about your week, its nice to remember the little things that we dont often think to write a post about. Whether its little things that have happened, or blog posts we have seen that we like, 'My Week That Was' is a true reflection of what happens in our lives.

My week that was...
On Monday I read a lot of blogs- I am really enjoying reading some new ones and the ones I am reading at the moment make me feel so inspired. I used to spend a fortune on glossy magazines but now I don't remember the last time I bought one- I much prefer reading about people's lives now!
I loved this post from a lovely blog friend Kara about her doing a fun day to raise money for a trike for her disabled son Grayson- Kara is an inspiration and I truly hope she raises the money she needs.
We went to dinner at my Mums on Tuesday, like we do most weeks as she has Mads while I am at work and then we go over and pick her up and stay for a meal. We took this photo of my gorgeous daughter, my Mum and my little sister- I love them all so much.

This post from Lucy gave me goosebumps. My marriage means the world to me and she put it into perspective here.
I worked a half day on Wednesday morning and then in the afternoon I went to London to a very exciting meeting. I can't reveal all now but I shall very soon!
Thursday was a lovely day- we went to a baby group in the morning and then the afternoon Mads and I spent at home- we cooked mini cupcakes and had homemade pizzas. Yummy but not good for my supposed healthy eating regime.

We went over to our friends on Friday- we love meeting up with our baby friends and Mads loves playing with the other babies, I hope they all stay great friends as they grow up. Mads was a little clingy though in the morning and we took this photo- I love it! In the evening Mr E cooked me a really yummy risotto and we had a couple of glasses of wine and watched Notting Hill. I love evenings in with my hubby, and risotto is my absolute favourite.
Saturday we had a lovely family day. We went to the little village I grew up in, it is only fifteen minutes away from us and my Mum is opening a beauty salon there. The simple days out are the best- we went to the beauty salon to check how the preparations are going, went out for a lunch of pizza with my Mum and stepdad, and went for a long walk in the countryside.

Saturday night my little sister came over, she very kindly treated us to dinner and we had tapas which was very yummy. She is only eighteen and we are both really into 'Pretty Little Liars' at the moment and have the whole series on record to watch. It is a teen show and I am most certainly not a teen- but I don't care!
Today was spent chilling out and eating far too much. We went to my Grandma and Grandpa's for a roast dinner which was just lovely. They are absolutely fabulous and I don't know what I would do without them- they gave Mr E some money to fix his bike after he had his accident and every time we see them they give us what they call a 'Red Cross Food Parcel' which is a bag full of essentials such as nappies, wipes, juice, pasta and creme eggs! They started doing it when I was tiny and it has carried on, especially while I was at university and I couldn't afford the essentials. They are such a big help and I adore them both.

And that was my week that was.
If you would like to join up and tell us about your week the linky is open and will remain open until next Sunday so feel free to join up at any time- doesn't just have to be on a Sunday. You can grab the badge too. Have a good week!

Thank you so much for mentioning my post, I feel very touched, it is very kind of you to call my inspirational, I just think of myself as a mama who loves her baby.
