My Weekend In Photos.
You know those weekends that are just fab, ones that aren't particularly hectic or exciting, but as weekends go- are just lovely? I am having one of those weekends right now.
We are up in Manchester visiting my in laws and having a lovely time. Last night Mr E and I got a well needed and deserved date night. We went to GBK in Didsbury for dinner and I had their Habanero spicy chilli burger which was so yummy. We then went to the cinema to see The Vow which was really soppy and was one of those films which made you think about how lucky you are.
Today we have been on a whistle stop tour of Cheshire. We started off at a gorgeous little farm shop and restaurant called The Hollies, where we had yummy smoothies and breakfast. The restaurant is really lovely and modern and I could have spent hours in the farm shop looking at all the different unique products. They have woodland lodges there which I would love to stay in one day.
We then went to a little village called Tarporley which had some quaint little boutique shops and we had a mooch around.
Finally we went to a place called Knutsford which I fell in love with, it is full of little pubs, bistro's, shops and coffee shops. We went to the Knutsford Wine Bar for lunch and then had a hot chocolate and a stroll around for ages in the little shops. I could have bought about a million things for our house and have come away with lots of nice ideas.
Now we are all snuggled up in the living room chatting, blogging (well I am), reading and watching TV. Tonight all that is on the cards is a game of Scrabble, drinking some wine and watching trashy Saturday night TV.
Those kind of weekends are definitely the best.
