Pink Or Blue?

A few weeks ago we shared some news with a little video.

Well we have finally had our 20 week scan, meaning that we now know whether Bug is Pink or Blue. We were so excited to find out, and best of all, it seems Bug is growing nicely in there.

So are we having a little boy or little girl?

So we are having another little girl. We are over the moon that we are going to have a little sister for Mads and couldn't be happier. She quite happily showed her bits in the scan so we know for sure that Bug is definitely a girly. While I would have loved a boy equally as much, I can't help but secretly be thrilled that it is a girl- I think it will be wonderful for Mads to grow up having a sister near her own age, I hope they will have a close bond and be the best of friends.

Deep down, it sounds strange, but I just kind of knew. When I imagined our family in years to come, I couldn't quite picture a boy, I didn't know if that was because having a girl is all I knew, but for some reason I always pictured me having little ladies. Mr E is feeling slightly outnumbered, I know he would have liked a boy to even things up, but the fact he had a tear at the scan and said he was destined to be around beautiful women, means that deep down I know he is as excited as I am.

Now all we need is for Bug to carry on growing nice and healthy.

Yay! I'm so pleased for you. Made will just love having a sister, and I know you really wanted that for her having a sister yourself. Lucky Mr E with all those gorgeous girlies. X

Ahhh congratulations! I have been looking forward to reading this! I think it's great that Mr E will be outnumbered by women, I will be happy about that if I have another girl! Love the photos too :) Xx

Hooray! A matching pair! I totally understand what you mean when I watch the two boys playing together (which has just started happening) it melts me and I don't think they would be the same if they weren't two the same! Funny my body completely told me small boy would be a boy too. Thrilled for you and tell Mr E he is the King of his castle just like I'm the Queen! xx

Wonderful! Fab piccys and lovely way to share the joy. I know what you mean about knowing. I was right with the gender of all three of mine. Erins 20 week scan wasnt clear but I knew and bought girly clothes anyway!! Could have been an expensive mistake- but I just knew!

Awwww congratulations!!! I'm reading this on the motorway with dodgy connection so couldn't see the pics properly at first. Ahhh Mads will be a lovely big sister and get to teach baby girl number 2 all her little tricks. Congratulations to all of you x
