Pretty.Little.Things- Cosy Beds.

on Friday, 17 February 2012.

It's Friday again which means it is time for another pretty.little.things.  The weeks are flying by so quickly- January was the slowest month ever and now the time is racing by.

Last week the theme was 'Cute and Cosy Nightwear' and it was a perfect excuse to look at some rather gorgeous babies in their snuggly pj's.  We loved all the entries but this week Lucy and I decided that the photo we both aahed over lots was the photo of Mummy's Cheeky Monkey and her gorgeous little monkey in a rather cute tigger outfit.  She can proudly display our little winners badge if she so desires.

This week the theme is all about beds.  Whether it be yours, or your little one's big bed or cot, we want to see where you sleep.  There is something so lovely about getting into bed when you are tired at the end of a long day and our bed is one of my favourite places to be.  However I thought I would show you all where my good little sleeper likes to go to the land of nod.  Ever since Mads has been tiny she has slept so well, going 12-13 hours a night.  She is certainly like her Mummy when it comes to sleep.

I must admit to being a very naughty Mummy last night.  Because I had forgotten to take a photo before I snuck into her room when she was asleep and took these snaps of her room.  Luckily she didn't even stir, otherwise she might have got a fright opening her eyes and seeing her Mummy stood there with a camera pointed at her.

Excuse the quality but it was taken in the dark.  Here is where my little girl dreams every night.  I adore her nursery.  She sleeps in a sleeping bag so there are no blankets but in the bed with her every night there is her pink bunny.  Her Daddy bought her this as her Christmas present when she was only a day old- he brought it in to the hospital to give to her there and I know it will be her most treasured possession when she is a bit bigger.  After all there aren't many little girls who get pink bunnies from their daddy's!

I always find her in all manner of random angles, the above photo was taken when she was lying the wrong way up and wonky in her cot.  She is cuddling 'friend'.  Friend is her sea horse and she loves him lots- whenever she has a nap or goes to sleep at night we turn friend on and he plays a little tune and his tummy lights up for a few minutes.  He goes every where with her, including to her child minders when she has naps there and he doesn't fail but comfort her.  Hence his name Friend.

So there you have it.  This week it is my turn to host so why not join in and show us where you or your little one gets some well earned rest.  We are looking forward to seeing the entries.  If you fancy it, why not grab a badge too?  The linky will stay open until Wednesday.
