The weeks are whizzing past us and therefore it is time for this weeks Pretty.Little.Things. Last week our theme was all about where your little one goes to the land of nod- their bed. We loved looking at all the entries, after all what is better than seeing some cute nurseries, especially with the added extra of a sleeping cutie? In the end we decided that the photo that made us go awww the most last week was this lovely entry from Kelly at Our Footprints on the World. Isn't her son Josh just so gorgeous? Well done Kelly and here is your badge.
This week the theme is Funky Footwear.
I must admit that Mads doesn't really wear shoes all that often as she isn't walking yet. (although she isn't far off and has been taking the odd step the last few days!) When she was born we literally got about twenty pairs of tiny little shoes as presents from different people and I had every intention of dressing her in little tiny dainty booties and things. However in the end I just didn't really get round to putting them on her and most of them have ended up sitting in her wardrobe in the cupboard with the labels still on them.
Now she is a bit older she has a pair of fake ugg style brown boots and a sheepskin pair of grey boots that she wears when we go out occasionally, but to be honest I still don't go out of the way to make sure she wears them all the time. Therefore when we came up with this weeks theme I was wondering which would be the best photo to use.
Then I remembered these...
These are by far my favourite shoes that she has got. I actually forgot they were in her cupboard and then I remembered one day so when it was her 1st birthday on Christmas Eve last year I got them out and she wore them with her party dress. She loved fab let me tell you and almost every person that came to her party mentioned her little shoes- after all they are perfect party shoes don't you think?
They are made from the softest leather and I just love the cupcake pattern, since then she has worn them a couple of times but sadly they are now slightly on the small side. However until we get her first big girl's walking shoes which I don't think will be too long away at all, I can safely say these are my favourite shoes she owns.
So there you have it. We can't wait to see what funky footwear your children have. Lucy is hosting this week so head over to Dear Beautiful Boy to link up. And feel free to grab a badge if you would like as well.
Next week the theme is 'Denim'. After all it is a staple in wardrobes up and down the country so why not dedicate a post to it? Does your little one have a favourite pair of jeans, or a cute pair od dungarees. Be sure to come here this week and show us your pretty.little.things.
