Sunny September Weekends...
As always is the way with good old Blighty weather, as soon as you pack away your shorts and get out your autumn warmers, the sun starts to shine again.
This past weekend we were busy all day Sunday so we decided to have a nice quiet chilled out day on Saturday. We went to a local country park, which has acres of grass, bridges and lakes to explore, and had a picnic together. There is also a great play area with sand all on the ground, which Mads loved and is great as she does have a tendency to get excited and fall over.
I wonder if this will have been the sunny day of the summer? Although I love the sunny weather, I must admit to finding Autumn and Winter extra special- I love that time of year- the snuggling up on dark nights, Autumn walks and wrapping up warm, and of course Christmas. Bryony wrote this post which I love and I agree with every point she made.
Anyway here is what we did to enjoy our last potential picnic of the summer...
