The Day That Review...
Anyone who knows me knows that I am a 'little' bit sentimental and soppy- I love nothing more than photography and photos that tell a story. Therefore when I heard about 'The Day That' I got so excited I nearly jumped up and down!
To those of you who don't know what it is all about, The Day That is a company that have taken a photo of the sea in Cornwall every single day since 2005. You can then look through and find a photo that corresponds to a special day in your life- and have a beautiful, lasting keepsake of the dawn of that day.
I obviously chose Mads birth date as that is the most significant date in my life recently, although I did wonder whether to do our wedding date. When it came down to it I preferred the photo of Mads birth date so she won- the photos are so beautiful and would make a really unique baby or anniversary gift.
Our photo arrived and I was not disappointed- it is truly gorgeous and such a wonderful gift for Mads to treasure. We got ours inscribed with a lovely message that reads
'The sky on the morning our lives changed forever. At 9.35am Mads came into the world. 24th December 2010.'
To say I will treasure this photograph is an understatement. It is a truly gorgeous memento to keep and every time I look at it, it makes me smile. Even though it was the day before Christmas the sun was shining bright the day my little girl came into the world.
It is going to get pride of place in Mads room- however we haven't put it up yet as in the next few months we are going to be moving her into her 'big girl room' in preparation for our new arrival. When she is old enough I will be able to tell her all about the day she entered the world, and the day she changed ours lives for the better.

I was sent this beautiful photograph for the purposes of this review but all opinions are entirely my own.
