Up, Up and Away...

Tomorrow I am off on a weeks holiday with my little family. We are going away with another two good friends of ours and their son who is only seven weeks older than Mads. We are off to stay in their villa in Spain for a week and I for one cannot wait.
I used to spend all our money on holidays- some people spend their hard earned cash on cars, or gadgets or shoes- I was a travel bug before I had Mads and have been very lucky to be all over the world.
Nowadays we can't afford to go on holiday as much as we used too but we are very fortunate that our friends invited us to stay. I am under no illusion that it will be very different to holidays of previous years- there won't be as much time for lying on sun loungers, drinking cocktails in the sunshine or staying up chatting and drinking until the early hours.
However I probably more excited about this holiday more than any other.
However I probably more excited about this holiday more than any other.
I can't wait to...
Build a sandcastle with my little girl.
Walk on the beach in the sunset.
Eat numerous ice creams and see the delight on Mad's face as she enjoys each one.
Paddle in the sea and splash Daddy.
Enjoy some good times with our friends.
And of course make some memories that we will be able to treasure forever as Mads first trip abroad. We are so lucky to be able to experience these times together.
So until next week...Adios Amigos.
