Delicate

There is something so lovely about a newborn baby. Their smell, their softness, the funny faces they pull. And their features. So small and delicate, and just utterly scrumptious. That combined with their newborn smell is just completely intoxicating. It is so easy to forget how small they actually were. We have handprints of Mads when she was twelve weeks old, and to look at her feet and hands now, it is hard to comprehend just how tiny they were.

I could stare at LL's features for ages.

So new and so delicate, tiny little fingers and tiny little toes. The crinkly, wrinkly, newness of her skin.

The way her bottom lip moves when she is asleep, almost like she is dreaming of milk.

My beautiful little lady.

Beautiful post. I can't wait for newborn features. Seeing tiny hands crunched up. Screwed up eyes. So exciting. There is something beautiful about the features on our babies but on a newborn it's amplified x

I love the way their bottom lip trembles when they sleep; almost smacking them together thinking of their next meal! What beautiful photographs. x
