Miscellaneous Memories #15

on Thursday, 26 June 2014.

I haven't had a whole lot of random photos left on my camera recently, I have generally been using all my photos for other posts or I have been taking my iPhone out instead of my DSLR.  However I do love looking back through my memory card and finding odd photos- just little snippets of memories and stories that I don't want to forget.

Earlier in the week I posted photos of our life recently through the eyes of my phone, now here are some little bits as captured by my 'big camera'...

hunstantonbeachapril14

Love the rawness and graininess of this photo of LL and her Daddy.

mismemoriesmayd

Serious splashing situation.

mismemoriesmay14

A little rape field moment.

mismemoriesmay14b

The love both my girls have for their Daddy is possibly my favourite part of watching them grow.

mismemoriesmay14e

At 16 months this little girl still seems very much a baby.  She isn't in a hurry to hit her milestones and I am not in a hurry to watch her hit them.

blackandwhitedaddyandgirls1

Sometimes I don't get a look in with these two when Daddy is around.  They then are super cuddly on a Monday to try and get back in my good books!

blackandwhitemismem15

I love this photo of these two.

blackandwhitemismem15b

Daddy liked the swing at our treehouse a bit too much me thinks.

blackandwhitemismem15a

Sisters chilling on the bed with an iPad and some crisps.  A perfect lazy afternoon on our weekend away.

blackandwhiteLLJune14

Her eyelashes are still so long and I love the way she furrows her brow when she is concentrating.

bandwicecream

This girl is turning into an ice cream addict like her Mummy.

blackandwhitehat

While this one is turning into such a cheeky little thing.

I love these posts, perfectly captured some lovely family moments. Your girls always look so content, and yes you can see they love their Daddy. The one of all three of them is adorable! Love Mr E on the treehouse swing too, haha, what a big kid! xx

Your girls as the same as my boys ... it's like I don't exist when Paul's around. I got back from BritMums and the eldest told me that he likes when I go away!!!! Like you say, it's a different story come Monday morning and I'm the one that's looking after them ... and holding the key to the biscuit tin (metaphorically ... I'm not so strict that I lock biscuits in a tin ... although that's not such a bad idea as my husband can be a bit of a pig with them).

Oh these are lovely pictures - especially the ones of the girls with their Daddy - I think our families must be very similar in that respect, I just don't get a look in when Daddy's around! This morning Elma could hear H reading to Kitty and when I went to get her she was chanting "Daddeeee! Daddeee! Daddee!" and bouncing up and down in her cot!!

Your photos are so full of happiness, love, admiration, and emotions, I truly almost cry looking over them. They capture the true essence of childhood, family, and life. I only wish I could do the same for my kids. These are so beautiful Katie. I am seriously driving down to see you and you teach me how to get the kids to look at the camera and all these action shots. Your hubby made me laugh out loud on the swing. So something Mr P would totally do! He is a big kid too. Keep the photos coming so stunning!

I'm not sure how I managed to miss this post before you went away.... but I'm seeing it now! Such lovely photos, love that you've done them all in black and white. It's funny how it's like you can see LL turning into more of a Daddy's girl gradually in these photos (and others you've been sharing) and I felt sure she simply wasn't going to get a look in with Mads around. x
