When I found out at our 20 week scan that we were having another little girl, I had visions of two little girl’s in matching pretty dresses, running hand in hand and generally causing mischief.
When I said this to Mr E he looked at me in mock horror and muttered something about his Mum dressing him and his brother in matching outfits until they were far too old.
I wouldn’t dress them in matching outfits every day, and I wouldn’t dress them in exactly the same outfit but I am always on the hunt for similar items of clothing. So say for example similar colours, or similar patterns, or perhaps the same style but in different designs. I often search the shops for ‘matching but not too matching’ items!
The sun was shining the other weekend so we went out into the long grass and blew dandelions, and generally enjoyed the afternoon sun.
After seeing our little girl’s in their ‘matching but not matching’ dresses, I don’t think even Mr E could deny that they looked rather cute.
NB- We were given these gorgeous, little checked cheesecloth dresses from Frugi, they make wonderful organic clothes for little one’s. I am a little bit in love with their things and could actually buy the whole range.
