When we were asked by Florence & Fred whether we wanted to pick some outfits for the party season, we most definitely jumped at the chance. Anyone who reads this blog will know that I love to dress my little ladies in what I call ‘matching but not matching.’ Similar colours, patterns or ideas, but without having them in the exact same outfit.
I had great fun choosing outfits for them to wear over the Christmas and New Year period. Because Mads was born on Christmas Eve, most of her little chums have birthdays around the same time- therefore we have a fair few parties and get togethers to go to. And of course, anyone knows that you can’t be seen in the same outfit twice!
First up we went for some festive red and blue. I got LL this gorgeous little denim pinafore dress, with white and red hearts, teamed with some red tights. You don’t want to upstage the birthday boy or girl at their own party, so we thought this was perfect- party attire but casual at the same time!
Mads denim skirt is from Tescos last season, and we got her this three pack of festive long sleeved T-shirts, which I just love and would quite frankly wear myself!
Yes my child is eating a bauble. In hindsight, probably not the best idea for a photo prop.
I forgot LL’s tights! Oops.
Pretty good ‘Matching but not Matching’ for my little ladies don’t you think? We are really pleased with our purchases and we will definitely be wearing them throughout the festive period. We buy a lot of the girls clothes from Tesco, they are great value for money and wash really well.
Bring on the Christmas parties! Thanks Tesco.
NB We were sent a £50 voucher to spend on clothes for our girls. All opinions, words and photos are my own.
